Leonora Cudini

Leonora Cudini of South Lyon, died April 18, 2018 at the age of 89. She was born in Hamilton, Ontario on November 8, 1928 to Giovanni Miculan and Orsola Chiappelini-Pellegrino. Leonora was the beloved wife of the late Elmo Cudini. Leonora is survived by her two loving children Brenda (Pat) Pescatore, and Richard (Corrine) Cudini, her six precious grandchildren Derek (Kara), Angela (Rocky), Rebecca, Piero (Maria), Marc, and Paul (Jaime), her eleven dear great grandchildren Marco, Dominic, Isabella, Elio, Anson, Luca, Giada, Michael, Nicolas, Olivia, and Joseph. Leonora was preceded in death by both of her parents, her 6 siblings and her granddaughter Amy Cudini.

Leonora moved to Detroit when she married Elmo on May 21, 1949, where they raised two children, Brenda and Ric. She took pride in her home and always enjoyed the company of family and friends. She especially loved ALL children and cherished time spent with her grandchildren and great grandchildren. She and Elmo enjoyed a loving relationship for 68 years. She was loved by many and will be deeply missed.

Visitation will be Sunday, April 22, from 2-8pm at the Schrader-Howell Funeral Home, 280 S. Main St., Plymouth, 48170. There will also be a Rosary Service beginning at 6pm. Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Monday, April 23, at 10:30am at St. James Catholic Church 46325 W. 10 Mile Rd, Novi, 48374. Family and friends may begin visiting the Church at 10am. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to St. Jude’s Children’s Hospital or Shriners Hospital for Children.
