Leonard P. Ores, Sr.

Leonard P. Ores Sr. passed away April 12, 2012 at the age of 80. He is the beloved husband of the late Betty. H He is the dear father of Leonard P. Ores Jr. and Sharlot(Guy)Cerullo. Dearest grandfather of Drew and Jillian and granddog Jack. Leonard retired from Ford Motor Company in 1987 as a designer. He served in the U. S. Army during the Korean War. Leonard loved music. When he was younger he played the trumpet and the bass. In earlier years he was a good all around athlete and he played tennis into his 50's. Leonard watched most every Tiger game. He loved football, a love he passed on to his granddaughter Jillian. A Memorial Service will be held Sunday, April 22, 2012, 3PM at Schrader-Howell Funeral Home, 280 S. Main St., Plymouth. Friends may visit beginning at 1PM. Memorials may be made to the Arthritis Foundation. Interment of ashes will take place at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery.
