Leo M. Putti

June 16, 1943 — November 10, 2020

Leo M. Putti, age 77 of Northville passed away on November 10, 2020.

Leo was born on June 16, 1943 in Detroit to his parents, Domenico and Maria (née Malpeli). He is the beloved and devoted husband of Judy (née Reska). They were married on October 9, 1971 at St. Alphonsus Catholic Church in Dearborn, and just celebrated 49 years of marriage. He is the loving father of two children – Matt (Alice) Putti and Andrea (Ryan) Carriere and very proud grandfather of Addison, Hagen and Silas who lovingly called him “Poppi”.

Leo was a world traveler and enjoyed sharing his many experiences. He had fun experiencing new cultures and new foods and visiting cities and towns that provided a new adventure and excitement to his travels and ultimately coming home with many fascinating stories to tell. Every winter, he escaped the harsh Michigan winters and travelled to the sub-tropical city of Naples, Florida. He loved being with their friends and going out dinner whether it was a special occasion or just wanting to catch up on what was happening with others. Above all of the fun that life had to offer, his family and his grandchildren were his greatest love and treasure in life. He is deeply loved and will be greatly missed by all of his family and his many friends.
