Passed away at his home with his family beside him on Sunday, March 30, 2014 at the age of 92. Leo was born in Fremont, Ohio the son of Samuel and Martha ( nee Furgeson ) on September 5, 1921. During World War II he served with the United States Army Air Corp. Leo had worked in various fields, his last being a machine operator at the General Motors Hamtramck plant. In his spare time he enjoyed working on cars and tractors and taking care of his property. Leo lost his beloved wife Rose in 2008. He is survived by his children, Greg and Nancy Medley, Ronald and Lucie Medley and Leo Medley, Jr. Several grandchildren and great grandchildren also survive. Visitation will be held at the Schrader-Howell Funeral Home, 280 South Main Street, Plymouth on Wednesday from 10:30 am until the time of the funeral service at 1 pm with the Reverend Drex Morton officiating. Later he will be laid to rest beside his wife at White Chapel Cemetery in Troy.
