Lee F. Moss, Sr.

Lee F. Moss Sr. passed away at his home on Friday, March 22, 2013 at the age of 73. Lee was born in Barnardsville, North Carolina on September 17, 1939 the son of James E. and Dora B. ( Whitemore ) Moss. Lee resided at times both in North Carolina and Michigan. While residing in Michigan he worked in tool and die and also ran a part-time tree service which later became a full time business, Plymouth Tree Service and Lee's Tree Service. Lee enjoyed NASCAR and the New York Yankees along with college basketball. He was also a member of St. Kenneth Catholic Church of Plymouth. He is survived by his children, Lee ( Lisa ) Moss, Jr., Timothy ( Debbie ) Moss and Rachel ( Jason ) Potter. Fifteen grandchildren, Courtney, Katie, Leah, Maria, Nicolette, Heather, Amanda, Samantha, Brandon, Richie, Lindsay, Marisha, Jordan, Amelia, Jonah survive along with four great grandchildren Jensen, Mckenna, Kaiden and Dalton and siblings Lance ( Arbata ) Moss, Edwin ( Naomi ) Moss, Dot ( Neal ) McElrath and Wanda Moss. Lee was preceded in death by his grandson Jacob Lee. Visitation will be held at the Schrader-Howell Funeral Home, 280 South Main Street, Plymouth on Tuesday from 4 pm until 9 pm. Funeral Mass will on Wednesday at 5:30 pm at St. Kenneth Catholic Church, 14951 Haggerty ( south of Five Mile ) Plymouth.
