Lee Burkhart

Lee Burkhart, age 67 passed away in Atlanta, Georgia on April 30, 2022.

Lee was born on June 13, 1954 in Northville, Michigan to Donald and the late Betty (née Heintz) Burkhart. He is deeply loved and will be greatly missed by his siblings, Joyce (Kevin) Abraham, Denise (Mark) Bair and Susan (Al) Bednarski. Lee was an Uncle, Great Uncle and Great-Great Uncle to many nieces and nephews and they will truly miss him very much.

Lee graduated from Plymouth High School in 1972. After graduation, he proudly served his country in the United States Army. Forty years ago, Lee made the decision to leave Michigan and moved to Atlanta, Georgia. He loved the weather, and fell in love with a beautiful city. He will be missed by his family members in Georgia and the many friends he made over the years who came to know and love him.

Friends may visit the Schrader-Howell Funeral Home, 280 South Main Street, Plymouth on Friday, May 6, 2022 from 4:00 P.M. until 7:00 P.M.

The funeral service will be held at on Saturday, May 7th beginning at 10:00 A.M. at the Funeral Home. For those who are unable to attend, the funeral service will be live streamed.


Lee will be laid to rest at Rural Hill Cemetery in Northville.
