Passed away at home on Saturday, December 1, 2012 at the age of 95. Laverne was born in what was then Livonia Township on July 21, 1917 the daughter of George F. and Nettie E. ( Pankow ) Kincade. She attended Plymouth schools and before she married she worked for the Daisy Air Rifle Company of Plymouth. In 1939 she married Dwight Paddock and together they shared 70 years of married life, Dwight passed away in 2009. After her marriage she spent time in the Livonia schools as a " lunch mother. " Some of her interests were embroidery work, reading, crossword puzzles and as her family stated, she " loved to clean. " She is survived by her daughter and son-in-law Carol and Bill Brown. Also surviving are grandchildren Kimberly Baker, Laurie & Dave Kowalski and Pamela & Rob Sudz, great grandchildren Emily & Justin Baker, Shawn & Casey Sudz and Haley & Jena Kowalski and great great grandchildren Alan St. Auburn and Raylynn Baker. Her sister Tessa Roy also survives. Visitation will be held at the Schrader-Howell Funeral Home, 280 South Main Street, Plymouth on Wednesday from 2 pm until 9 pm. Funeral services will be conducted on Thursday 1pm with Pastor Gordon R. Steinke of Farmington Hills Church of God officiating. Later she we be intered beside her husband at Oakland Hills Cemetery in Novi. Contributions are suggested to Angela Hospice of Livonia.
