Lavada Greenough Pritchard

Lavada Greenough Pritchard (nee Jamieson) age 88, of Boyne City passed away May 10, 2022. Predeceased by John (Jerry) Greenough and Harry Pritchard. Devoted and loving mother of Matt (Ann) Greenough of Northville, John (Carol) Greenough of Saginaw and the late Mark Greenough of Detroit Lakes, Minnesota. Proud grandmother of 4 - Jamieson Greenough (fiancée Myrandah Flores) of Saginaw, Elizabeth Greenough of Seattle; Sister Andrew John (Katie) Greenough of Ann Arbor and James (JP) Greenough of Royal Oak.

Predeceased by parents Russell and Bernetta (nee Gonyaw) Jamieson, sisters Delrethia Jamieson, Betty Golec Mayer and Joan Rodes. Survived by brother Russell Jamieson of East Jordan.

A proud graduate of St Matthews High School in Flint, Lavada first came to Walloon Lake in 1952 later making it her full time home. Lavada retired from Boyne Mountain after 20+ years of service on the housekeeping team. The family is grateful for the care she received from the staff of Grandvue Medical Care Facility and from many dear friends and neighbors.

The Funeral Mass took place at St Augustine's in Boyne Falls, Michigan on Tuesday, May 17th.

A committal service for Lavada will be held at 11:00 A.M. on August 3rd at Riverside Cemetery in Plymouth.
