Laura Elizabeth Thuma

Laura Elizabeth Thuma, age 58 of Plymouth, passed away with her family surrounding her on August 26, 2015. Born in Flint, Michigan on December 28, 1956 to her loving parents Louise (Wiesen) and the late James L. Attridge. Beloved step daughter of Col. Edward L. Baugh ret. Laura graduated from Churchill High School in 1975. In 1981 Laura began her career at Consultants in Cardiology in Farmington Hills and worked until 2015. In 1989 Laura met her beloved Eric Thuma and in 1990 they would marry. Together they were blessed with two loving children; Melissa (David) Rion and Eric Thuma Jr. Laura loved spending time with her precious grandchildren Kalen & Asher Rion. Also survived by her siblings; Nancy McKendrick, Lisa (Mike) Kirk, Margaret (David Masko) Attridge, Julie (Ronald) Hintz, Carla (Dave) Cotrell and Sarah (Terry) Schloser. Laura enjoyed golfing, kayaking, reading and most of all spending time with her family and friends. In 58 short years Laura touched so many lives and she will be missed by all who knew and loved her. Friends may visit the Schrader-Howell Funeral Home 280 South Main St, Plymouth on Friday, August 28th from 2:00pm-8:00pm.
