Larry Allen Siedell, age 69 of Canton passed away on October 31, 2018.
Larry is the beloved husband of 29 years to his wife, Karen (nee Tylka); loving and devoted father of Lindsay (Chris) Williams, Rachel (Tony) Bowne, Jennifer (Jamie) Mink, Melissa (David) Boyd and Larry (Jill) Siedell, Jr.; proud grandfather of Lexi, Tyler, Jayden, Micah, Brooklyn, Breanna, Zoey, Abby, Emery, Saige, Georgia, Finleigh and Piper. Larry is deeply loved and will be greatly missed by his two sisters, Cindy Regeimbal and Susan Bedford.
Larry had many hobbies and interests. He loved sports and was a quarterback for his university, Arkansas A & M. After his college playing he tried out for the Dallas Cowboys but was injured during those tryouts and never played again. Larry also was and an avid golfer. He was ready to tee it up at the first sign of the season. He loved the smell of the freshly cut grass and the sound of that golf ball striking against the iron. Just as golf requires you to focus on each shot as it comes, his interest in photography also required him to focus on each shot of the camera which ultimately led him to wonderful and beautiful photo images capturing moments and emotions that will not be soon forgotten. He and Karen also enjoyed travel together. For them it was not where you go, but who you are with when you travel together. He loved his family and was so very proud of all of his children and grandchildren.
After a 30 year career Larry retired from the Detroit branch of the FBI. As a special agent his work encompassed many areas of investigation including work with the FBI's SWAT team and other areas of undercover work.
