Kristen Elizabeth McLean

Kristen Elizabeth Nagy, Age 42, was born March 31, 1979 in Hancock, Michigan (Upper Peninsula) to Daniel (Dan) Nagy and Catherine (Cathy) Martin Nagy. She is survived by and deeply loved by her parents, her brother, Steven (Steve) Nagy, her Godfather, Russell (Russ) Smedo and her Godmother, Constance (Connie) Dubrock.

Kristen was married for 10 years (divorced) to Scott McLean. She lived in Houghton, MI, Toledo, OH, Phoenix, AZ, Lima, OH, Farmington Hills, Detroit, Garden City and Dearborn, MI. She graduated from North Farmington H.S. and Wayne State with a B.A. Business Administration, B.A. in Education, Teaching Certificate and Masters in Education.

She was a sixth grade English Teacher at Harper Woods Middle School.

Kristen showed her students that anything was possible. She believed and told them they could achieve their dreams. And her job was to help them on their journey. And know she was always there for them.

A Memorial Service will take place Friday, February 11, 2022, 6 PM.at the Schrader-Howell Funeral Home, 280 S. Main St., Plymouth. Friends many visit at the funeral home from 3 PM until 8 PM. For those who are unable to attend, the funeral service will be live streamed.


Kristen will be laid to rest in Woodmere Cemetery, Detroit.
