Kathryn Malinowski

Kathryn Marie Malinowski, age 72 of Plymouth, passed away on March 23, 2020. She was born in Dearborn, MI on April 20, 1947. Kathryn is the beloved wife of James Malinowski of 53 years. She is survived by her children; Thomas (Heidi) Malinowski, and Mark (Tracy) Malinowski, grandchildren; Sarah, Amy, Hunter and Emily and her brother James Prochaska and sister Lois Fuse. She is preceded in death by her parents Emil and Shirley Prochaska, and sister Helen Mckeel.

Kathryn had many passions in her life. First and foremost was the love she had for her family, those in Michigan and in Australia. This warmth spread to extended family and friends as well. She had many personal interests, the strongest of which was watercolor and pastel painting. She also enjoyed sharing the books she read with the book club at Plymouth library. Kathryn took great joy in the simple things around her -- she loved butterflies, eating out with friends, zinnias, but her greatest legacy is the love she spread so freely. She will be deeply loved and missed by all who knew and loved her.

Kathryn requested that any memorial donations be made to St. Jude Children's Hospital.

A Celebration of Life Service will be held at a later date.
