Kathleen Shannon Douglass, age 39 of Plymouth, passed away on July 5, 2017.
Kathleen was born on July 19, 1977 in Dearborn. She is the beloved wife of Matthew Douglass for 13 years, devoted and loving mother of Shea and Everett. She is also survived by her parents, John and Linda (nee Musko) Sullivan and grandparents, Val and Marthe Musko, dearest brother, Joseph (Kim) Sullivan and, mother-in-law, Michelle (Brian) Dyksley.
Anyone who knows Kathleen, also knew that she loved being a wife to Matthew and mother to her two precious children and that she always did what she believed was best for her children and family. She was comfortable with her decisions and stood by them knowing that they loved her and she loved them. Kathleen was deeply loved by family and friends and will be greatly missed.
Friends may gather at the Schrader-Howell Funeral Home, 280 South Main Street, Plymouth on Saturday, July 8th from 6:00 pm to 9:00 pm and on Sunday, July 9th from 1:00 pm until 5:00 pm. A Family Sharing Service will begin at the Funeral Home on Sunday at 5:00 pm.
A memorial service will be held at a later date at The Cross in the Woods Catholic Shrine at Indian River, Michigan.
Memorial contributions may be made in memory of Kathleen Douglass to the annual SJ5k event at www.sj5k.org which supports survivors-families who fight on each day through medical crises.
