June E. Bogacz, age 89, of Trenton, passed away on February 28, 2018.
June was born on July 14, 1928, in Detroit, Michigan, to Jacob and Esther (nee Jeska) Schiesler. She is the beloved wife of the late Mac Bogacz, who passed away June 24, 1973; devoted mother of Marsha (John) Geierman, Michael (Robin) Bogacz, Monica (Michael) Bova and, the late Mark Bogacz; proud grandmother of Charity (Philip) Coyle, Tiar Bogacz, and many other grandchildren; great-grandmother of Bianca (Josh) Robidoux, Shyan (fiancé Wesley Murphy) Risden, Noah Coyle, Payton Coyle, Austin Bogacz, and Zachary Bogacz, and great-great-grandmother of Sophia Robidoux. June is also survived by her late son Mark’s life partner, Gary Cummins.
June was once the owner of her own Piper Cub airplane and had a pilot’s license for over 50 years. In the air, she was in charge from takeoff to landing and in command of every climb and descent. But on the ground, she was an avid golfer and bowler. She also loved to crochet and donated her crocheted blankets, etc., for hospital patients.
Friends may visit the Schrader-Howell Funeral Home, 280 South Main Street, Plymouth, on Saturday, March 3rd from 2:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. Following the visitation a Memorial Service will be held at the Funeral Home at 6:00 p.m.
