Judy Ann Werda

Passed away at her home on Tuesday, June 11, 2013 at the age of 71. Judy was born in Detroit the daughter of James H. and Helen G. ( Thatcher ) Marsh on May 29, 1942. During her lifetime she resided in Redford, Canton and Salem Township. Judy worked as a optical machinist, creating contact lens, before retiring. She loved to design and create jewelry and enjoyed reading immensely but her extended family gave her the most joy and fulfillment in life. In 2007 she lost her husband, Stanley. She is survived by her children Lorie Pocock, Susan ( Spencer ) Wilke and Mark ( Diane ) Werda. She was a loving grandmother to John Lee ( Jennifer ), Christopher and Daniel Pocock, Stephanie ( David ) Junco and Shari Wilke, Hillarie,Hallie and Andrew Werda. Also surviving are her great grandchildren, Jacen and Addison Pocock and Caleb and Sofia Junco and her siblings Joan Delarosa, Joyce Swisher and Jim ( Caren ) Marsh. Visitation will be held at the Schrader-Howell Funeral Home, 280 South Main Street, Plymouth on Friday from 3 pm until 9 pm. A Memorial Service will be held at Lake Pointe Bible Church, 42150 Schoolcraft Road, Plymouth on Saturday at 11:30 am.
