Joseph Francis Yarnevich Jr., age 78 of Plymouth passed away on May 1, 2021.
Joseph was born on August 3, 1942 in Grosse Pointe Farms, Michigan to his parents, Joseph Francis Sr. and Mary Della (née Sharp) Yarnevich. Joseph’s brother Gene, pre-deceased him and he is survived by his brother, Donald. Joseph is a loving husband, best friend to Kathreen, father and grandfather. He is survived by their children, Joseph, Kevin (Joanne), Daniel, Laura (Jeff), Keith and Michael (Sabrina) and six grandchildren - Michael, Ryan, Jolene, Matthew, Amelia and Raeden.
After being a die designer for many years, he went on to a long successful career at Ford Motor Company in Stamping Engineering.
Joseph and Kathreen had a loving and fun relationship as husband and wife. The love they had for one another and the fun they shared went hand in hand. She affectionately called him “Joey Wonderful” and he called her “Kathy Sparkle”.
Friends may visit Our Lady of Good Counsel Catholic Church, 47650 North Territorial Road, Plymouth on Friday, May 7, 2021 beginning at 9:00 A.M. until the time of the Funeral Mass beginning at 9:30 A.M. Following the Funeral Mass, Joseph will be laid to rest at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery in Southfield, Michigan.

The family is thankful for all of God’s blessings received through Joseph Francis Yarnevich Jr. during his time on earth and comforted knowing he is no longer suffering and is at home with the Lord.
