John Tablac, age 92 of Plymouth, formerly of Struthers, Ohio, passed away on November 3, 2016. John was born in Youngstown, Ohio to his parents, John and Anna (nee Wiskoski) Tebelak. He is the beloved husband of the late Mary (nee Mitulinsky) Tablac, dearest father of David (the late Marie Adamczyk Tablac); proud Grandfather of Angela Tablac and Mary Frances Tablac.
John proudly served his country during World War II in the United States Army and was awarded The Purple Heart. After he was discharged from the military, he became active with veteran services. John was the 1981-1982 State Commander for the Disabled American Veterans organization. He was a life member for Chapter #2, a DAV Service Officer for Chapter #2, a Board Member of the Veteran Services Commission and Director of the Veterans Services Commission.
Friends may visit at the Schrader-Howell Funeral Home, 280 South Main Street, Plymouth on Saturday, November 5 from 4:00 pm until 9:00 pm. A funeral service will also be held at the Funeral Home on Saturday at 6:00 pm to be officiated by The Reverend Father Thomas Belczak.
John will be buried at Lake Park Cemetery in Youngstown, Ohio on Monday, November 7, 2016.
