John Paul Bloomquist

John Paul Bloomquist, age 45, of Redford and Canton, lost his battle with paranoid schizophrenia and depression. He was born July 29, 1974 to loving parents Duane and Judy Bloomquist. John is survived by his sister Katie Walter, her husband David Walter, and their two children Libby and Molly, of Lexington, MA; his brother Erik Bloomquist of Hartland, WI; and his sister Sarah Bloomquist and partner Paul Bocchino of Brooklyn, NY.

John was a lifelong lover of working on cars and motorcycles, fixing things, woodworking, history, reading, and airplanes. May his soul and spirit rest in eternal peace.

A memorial gathering will be on Friday, August 23rd , at 10 AM until the time of the Memorial Service at 11 AM at Our Lady of Good Counsel Catholic Church, 47650 North Territorial Road, Plymouth, MI 48180. A luncheon will follow after the mass.
