John Patrick Swirles

John Patrick Swirles, age 76 of Plymouth passed away on December 3, 2021. He was born in Detroit, Michigan on October 6, 1945 to his parents, the late Elizabeth C. (née Bridgeman) and Patrick M. Swirles.

He is deeply loved and will be greatly missed by his brother William (Bill) Swirles, nephews, Scott and Christopher as well as many cousins.

John was a beloved friend to many. He was known for his care and concern for those less fortunate, especially in the City of Detroit. John volunteered faithfully with PBJ Outreach and was a devoted member of St. Kenneth Catholic Church in Plymouth. He lived a life focused on others, desiring that everyone he met would join him in his friendship with Jesus.

For those privileged to know John, we will miss our brother, uncle, cousin and friend.

Friends may gather at St. Kenneth Catholic Church, 14951 North Haggerty Road, Plymouth on Tuesday, January 25, 2022 from 6:30 P.M. until the time of the Memorial Mass officiated by the Revered Fr. Thomas Belczak.

For those who wish to attend the interment, John’s cremated remains will be laid to rest at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery (Section 15), 25800 West Ten Mile Road, Southfield, Michigan.
