John Owen Stone

John Owen Stone passed away suddenly in Corinth, Mississippi on Sunday, June 30, 2013 at the age of 49. John was born in Detroit the son of Joann ( Steele ) and the late Alan R. Stone on February 13, 1964. John graduated from Plymouth High School and had served with the United States Army as a paratrooper. While in the Army he served in Italy, Germany and learned to ski with full military equipment in Switzerland. In Mississippi he had just taken on a job at Caterpillar Equipment. John loved traveling on his motorcycle. He is survived by his mother Joann and step father Arthur Anderson. Also surviving are his siblings, David ( Mara ) Stone, Jennifer ( Pat ) Sommerville, Matthew ( Jennifer ) Stone, Julie ( Dave ) Gough, Susan ( Ken ) Perry, Lisa ( Jim ) Stauder and the late Alana Ingram, Michael and Jeffrey Anderson. Numerous nieces and nephews also survive. Visitation will be held at the Schrader-Howell Funeral Home, 280 South Main Street, Plymouth on Friday from 11 am until time of the funeral service at 4 pm.
