John Strong Johnston

John Strong Johnston, age 97 of Plymouth passed away on August 31, 2022.

He was born on March 26, 1925 in Plymouth, Michigan to his parents, the late John Edward and Mabel Francis (née Albro) Johnston.  John is the beloved and devoted husband of the late Jean (née Malloy) Johnston; loving father of three children – Mark (Lynne) Johnston, Bradley (Delane) Johnston and Kevin Johnston; proud grandfather of Kyle (Kristen) Johnston and Kory (Katelyn) Johnston.  He is deeply loved and will be greatly missed by his nieces and nephew, Jill Vernal, Jeff (Sandy) Johnston and Lucinda (Joel) Clark.

Friends may visit the Schrader-Howell Funeral Home, 280 South Main Street, Plymouth, Michigan on Wednesday, September 7, 2022 from 5:00 P.M. to 8:00 P.M. 

A funeral service will be held at the Funeral Home on Thursday, September 8, 2022 at 11:00 A.M.

John will be laid to rest at Riverside Cemetery in Plymouth, Michigan with Military Honors.

For those unable to attend, the Funeral Service will be live streamed.
