John Thomas Bresnahan

John T. Bresnahan, age 72, passed away March 15, 2023 in Livonia, Michigan.  John was born October 31, 1950, to his parents, the late Norma and John Bresnahan in Detroit, Michigan.  He was married in 1980 to the late Barbara Bresnahan. They were married for 34 years.  Surviving are his two stepchildren Todd and Brian (Nanette) Bales.  Also, his sister Nancy Felty and brother Mark (Estelle) Bresnahan, along with nieces, Dawn Brown, Natalie Carling, Alaina (Patrick) Griffin, Candice Bresnahan and nephew Charlie Bresnahan. 

After graduation from Redford High School in Detroit, John enlisted in the U.S. Navy where he served for 16 months.  Following that, he worked for 30 plus years at Chrysler.

Friends may visit the Schrader-Howell Funeral Home, 280 South Main Street, Plymouth, Michigan on Sunday, March 26 from 2pm-7pm.

A service will be held at the Funeral Home on Monday, March 27 at 11:00am.

Those who wish to honor the memory of John Bresnahan are invited to consider a contribution to Viet Nam Veterans Association, VFW Post 6695, 1426 S. Mill Street, Plymouth, MI  48170.

Contribution envelopes will be available at the funeral home.
