Joann Walker

Joann Walker age 68 of Plymouth, passed away on December 29, 2016. Born in Detroit on April 11, 1948 to the late John & Clara Piccolo. She was preceded in death by her loving husband Meek Walker and by longtime companion John Bastinelli. She is survived by her step-children Rebecca Walker and Jayne Watford. She is the proud grandmother of Ashley Watford and great-grandmother of Isabella, Angel and Amos and dear sister of Anthony (Deborah) Piccolo & Rita Podeszwick. She is also survived by her brother-in-law Frank Schmaltz and many nieces and nephews. Joann was preceded in death by her sisters Phyllis Anderson, Kathleen Schmaltz and by brother-in-law Dennis Podeszwick.

Friends may visit at the Schrader-Howell Funeral Home, 280 South Main St, Plymouth on Monday, January 9th from 2:00pm-9:00pm and Tuesday, January 10th from 2:00-9:00pm. A funeral service will be held at the funeral home on Wednesday, January 11th at 11:00am. Joann will be buried next to her beloved Meek at Parkview Memorial in Livonia following services at the funeral home.
