Joan T. O'Connell

Joan T. O’Connell, age 90 of Plymouth, passed away on April 13, 2021.

She was born on June 9, 1930 in Brockton, Massachusetts to her parents, Joseph and Julia (née Lyons) Connolly. Joan is the loving and devoted mother of Patrick (Beth) O’Connell, Kathleen Reid, John (Donna) O’Connell, Ann O’Connell, William (Beth) O’Connell, and the late James Michael O’Connell; proud grandmother of Ashley (Chris) Sullivan, Sean Reid, Connor Reid, Brock O’Connell, William O’Connell, Johnny O’Connell, Josie O’Connell, Ryan (Shellie) Lewis, Brittany Temmen and Kyle Temmen and great-grandmother of Parker Sullivan, Lucy Sullivan, Hadley Sullivan, Owen Sullivan, Alexander Yell and Zayne Temmen.

Joan was so proud of her family and loved them deeply. She was a loving and devoted homemaker and when grandchildren were born, it was the “best of the best” in her life. Her grandchildren multiplied the joy that all of her children brought to her. She is deeply loved by each and every one of them and will be greatly missed.

Friends may gather at St. Kenneth Catholic Church, 14951 North Haggerty Road, Plymouth, Michigan on Friday, April 16, 2021 from 12:30 P.M. until the time of the Mass at 1:30 P.M.
