Jesse Norman Tiilikka

Jesse Norman Tiilikka, beloved son, brother, and friend, passed away on December 23rd, 2023, after a long battle with drug addiction . He was born on September 25th, 1992, in Ann Arbor.

Jesse was a young man with an infectious zest for life. He had a deep love for nature and especially enjoyed spending his days by the water. Fishing was his absolute passion, and he would often recount countless stories of his fishing adventures to anyone who would lend an ear. Jesse could spend hours on end by the riverside, finding solace and contentment in the gentle sway of the water.

More than just a hobby, fishing was a true reflection of Jesse's spirit. It allowed him to embrace the beauty of tranquility while reminding us all to appreciate the simple wonders that surround us. His patience, dedication, and unwavering determination were mirrored in every cast of his fishing line.

Jesse's warm smile and compassionate heart touched the lives of all those fortunate enough to cross paths with him. He exuded kindness and radiated positivity wherever he went. Whether it was with family or friends, he had a unique talent for making everyone feel valued and loved.

Jesse also leaves behind his loving mother Janet Roy and stepfather Dwayne Roy who stood by his side throughout his battle with unmatched strength and unwavering support. Their unconditional love provided immense comfort during challenging times. Jesse was preceded in death by his father Larry Tiilikka. 

In addition to his immediate family, Jesse is survived by his dear brothers Mitchel Trowbridge, Michael Roy, Corey Roy, Cody Roy. Their bond was unbreakable, and they were always there to cheer each other on, no matter the circumstances.

Jesse's uncle Norman (Marion) Tiilikka played an influential role in his upbringing. He was not only an uncle but also a mentor and a friend. 

To know Jesse was to understand the meaning of genuine friendship. His infectious laughter and genuine care for others touched the lives of many. He will be missed dearly by his friends, whose lives he graced with laughter, love, and endless moments of joy.

A private family service will be held at a  later date.
