Jennie Wellman passed away at St. Joseph Mercy Hospital on Saturday, December 29, 2012 at the age of 91. She was born on August 17, 1921 in Newburgh, Michigan the daughter of James and Hazel ( Stay ) Bassett. She is survived by her husband James and children Timothy ( Terri ) Tallmadge. Tamara ( Richard ) Smith, Bob ( Nola ) Wellman, Alice ( Don ) Jordan, Arthur Wellman, Dan ( Jennifer ) Wellman, Amy ( Glenn ) Goodsmith and Jack Wellman. Also survivng are 13 grandchildren, 4 great grandchildren, siblings Earle Bassett, June ( Harold ) Hansor and Ardith Drury and many nieces and nephews. Visitation will be held on Friday from 3 pm until 8 pm at the Schrader-Howell Funeral Home, 280 South Main Street, Plymouth where funeral services will be conducted on Saturday at 11 am. Interment will follow at Riverside Cemetery, Plymouth.
