Jeffrey passed away suddenly in Gaylord, Michigan, on October 21, 2011, at the age of 41. Jeffrey was born in Columbus, Indiana, on October 30, 1969, the son of Joseph H. and Beatrice A. (Walls) Dillon. Jeff graduated from Canton High School in 1987, and earned a B.S. degree from Eastern Michigan University. He joined the United States Army and served in counter intelligence until 1996, when his tour was complete. He ended his Army career as a sergeant. He worked for Ford Motor Company in the Michigan Truck plant in Wayne, and continued his education earning a law degree from the University of Detroit. Currently he was working for Quicken Loan in mortgage banking.
He is survived by his beloved wife, Jill, and their three children, Hannah, Jacob and Aidan. Also surviving is his mother, Beatrice. His father, Joseph, precedes him in death. Jeff was one of eight children, and he is survived by Bryan Dillon, Timothy (Cheryl) Dillon, Terese Dillon, Paul (JoDee) Dillon, Anne (Mark) Andrews and Jeanne (Chris) Dillon-Boone, and is preceded in death by his sister, Kathryn. Loving son in law of Harry and Sue Hill and brother in law of Jessi (Randy) Danison, Jamie Hill and Joey (Shanna) Hill. Many nieces and nephews also survive.
Visitation will be held at the Schrader-Howell Funeral Home, 280 South Main Street, Plymouth, on Thursday from 3pm until 8pm. A memorial service will be held at 7pm. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Friday, October 28, 2011, 10:30AM at Our Lady of Good Counsel Catholic Church, 47650 North Territorial Road at Beck, Plymouth Township. Friends may visit at church, Friday, beginning at 10AM.
