Jeannine M. Seipke passed away January 19, 2016, at the age of 81. She was born February 27, 1934, in Gladwin, Michigan, to Leo and Irene (Bryant) Villeneuve. Jeannine was the devoted wife of Thomas for 52 years, loving mother of Tim Seipke and Lisa (Joseph) Diglio and dearest grandmother of Taylor, Zach and Josh. She is the dear sister of Gail, Yvonne, Charmaine, Joseph and the late Lorraine. Jeannine is also survived by many nieces and nephews.Growing up on a farm in Gladwin, Jeannine was no stranger to hard work and rolling up her sleeves to get dirty. It was there that she initially developed an unending love of family, animals and nature. She began her career as a pediatric nurse before dedicating her life to raising her children and doting on her husband.
Jeannine was an 'outdoors' girl who enjoyed hunting, ice fishing, gardening and working in the yard. You could always find Jeannie at the end of a long day, gazing over Mother Nature, sipping on a toddy during "happy hour." She found escape by spinning the wheels on the slot machines at a local casino and spending precious time with her beloved family.
Diagnosed with ALS six years ago, she fought the disease with strength, courage and dignity. She continued to put her family first until the bitter end.
