Jeanne E. Buikema

Jeanne Elizabeth Buikema of Plymouth, passed away November 22, 2017 at the age of 62. She was born on August 16, 1955 to Klement and Edna (nee Stahelin) White. Jeanne is survived by her beloved husband of 43 years, Robert Buikema, her loving daughter Jodi (David) Svoboda, her two precious granddaughters Kara and Lauren, her dear brother Ron (Kathy) White, her brother-in-law Todd (Linda) Buikema, and her nieces and nephews Laura, Rhonda, Linz, and Will. Jeanne was preceded in death by both of her parents.

Jeanne was a graduate of Salem High School and she soon after married Bob Buikema. They started a family together with the birth of their daughter Jodi. Jeanne then spent 27 years working for the Plymouth Canton Schools. She loved to vacation to Florida because she always loved the beach. Jeanne also enjoyed spending time reading by the pool. She loved to cook, bake, and decorate cakes. Above all, Jeanne loved spending time with her two precious granddaughters. Jeanne will be deeply missed by many.

A Memorial Gathering will be held December 9, from 4-6pm at the Schrader-Howell Funeral Home, 280 S. Main St., Plymouth, 48170. Her Memorial Service will be celebrated immediately following the Memorial Gathering beginning at 6pm.
