Jeanenne Marie Gallagher

Jeanenne Marie Gallagher, age 54 of Plymouth passed away on September 27, 2023.  She was born on January 10, 1969 in Detroit, Michigan.

She is the beloved and devoted wife of James M. Gallagher; loving mother of Elizabeth (Bryan) Davison and Victoria (Garrett) Arban; proud grandmother of Ivy Davison and Timothy Davison.  She is deeply loved and will be greatly missed by her mother Kathleen Sumner and her sister, Stephanie (Gary) Strunk.

Jeanenne was fortunate to have a best friend in her mother, they spent time crafting,  vacationing and sewing. Jeanenne, her mother Kathy and her sister Stephanie loved camping together when they were young. One of their favorite places to camp was Ludington. Jeanenne, Kathy and Stephanie continued this tradition and brought their own families up to Ludington to vacation together as adults.  Jim and Jeanenne were blessed with two lovely daughters – Elizabeth and Victoria.  When their daughters were married, the family grew to include two wonderful sons-in-law – Bryan and Garrett.  They were blessed with two grandchildren – Ivy and Timothy.  Family was always first and every moment spent together was precious.  Jeanenne had a close relationship with her grandchildren.  She always looked forward to spoiling them any way she could.

Jeanenne’s daughters Elizabeth and Victoria are Irish Dancers.  She so enjoyed watching them at every performance.  Not only was she a proud mother, but she also was a seamstress and made the dresses for their performances.  She grasped the importance of each costume and understood the requirement for her attention to detail in creating the right dress with its intricate designs and how it could enhance the performance. She knew the vital significance of the Irish heritage and the preservation of its history and culture through their dance performances.

Her daughters loved to dance and were so proud of their mother who was there to support them at each performance.  Elizabeth and Victoria were equally as proud of their mother and could show off Jeanenne’s love for them and the loving care that went into each of their costumes.
