Jean C. Unger, age 88 of Plymouth passed away January 31st at her home. She was born in Northville, Michigan on March 4, 1927 to her parents, the late William and Martha (nee Heintz) Matthews.
Jean is the loving mother of Diana (Robert) Hawkins. Proud Grandmother of Shelly Davis, Timothy Coon, Karen Wegryn, Casey Unger, Kevin Unger, Brian Miller and Beth Landau. She is also survived by 20 Great-Grandchildren and 8 Great-Great-Grandchildren as well as many nieces and nephews. Jean is also the dear sister of Irene (Edward) Veresh.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Jack Unger, her son, Stephen (Debbie) Unger and Daughter and son-in-law, Barbara and Charles Miller.
A funeral service for Jean will be held on Saturday, February 6, 2016 at Unity of Livonia Church, 28660 Five Mile Road, Livonia, Michigan at 1:00 p.m. Funeral will be officiated by Rev. Eileen Patra.
