James Victor Farrar

James Victor Farrar passed away at the Memorial Health Care Center in Owosso on Sunday, March 10, 2013, age 69. " Vic , " as he was known, was born in Troy, Tennessee on March 26, 1943 the son of James H. and Delmer P. ( Hill ) Farrar. The family moved to Michigan when Vic was 10 and he graduated from Plymouth High School. Vic worked for General Motors for 36 years at the Warren Powertrain plant. He was a member of the Elks and enjoyed fishing and playing horseshoes. Vic is survived by his children Vicki ( Tim ) Jasmer, Stacey ( Tysen ) Moore and Sean ( Emily ) Farrar. Also surviving are his grandchildren, David, Tiffany ( Matt ), Colby, Caleb, Elise, Kaitlyn, Alyssa and great grandson Logan. Vic's sister Brenda ( Larry ) Dolan also survives. Vic's wife Charlotte preceded him in death. Visitation will be held at the Schrader-Howell Funeral Home, 280 South Main Street, Plymouth on Friday from 4 pm until 9 pm. Funeral services will be conducted at the White-Ranson Funeral Home, 212 Washington Street, Union City, TN on Monday at 11 am. There will be a visitation at the funeral home on Sunday from 5 pm until 8 pm. Burial will occur in the family plot at the Antioch Cemetery, Hornbeak, TN. Memorials may be made to the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society or American Heart Association.
