James C. "Jim" Bell

Jim Bell, age 77, passed away at home on August 23, 2011. He was born in Lincoln Park, Michigan, on March 25, 1934, to Stanley and Tekla Cieminska Bell. Jim was a 40 year resident of Westland, Michigan. He retired from Ford Motor Company, Livonia Transmission after 35 years as a Job Setter. He served his country in the United States Army. Jim enjoyed home remodeling and refinishing furniture, but he especially loved to cook.

He is the beloved husband of Christine. Dearest father of Karen (Curt) Schafer. Step-father of the late James R. Cantrell. Dear grandfather of Curtis Schafer and Melissa Schafer. Dear brother of Stan Bell, Benny (Shirley) Bell, George (Peggy) Bell and Helen Hook. Also survived by numerous nieces and nephews and great nieces and nephews.

Friends may visit at the Schrader-Howell Funeral Home, 280 S. Main St., Plymouth, Thursday 5-8pm and Friday 1-8pm. Funeral Services will follow Saturday, August 27, 2011, 2pm at the funeral home. Memorials may be made to a charity or fund of the donor's choice.
