James "Bill" Kennett

James “Bill” Kennett passed away October 17, 2017 at the age of 60. He was born June 1, 1957 in Detroit to William and Wetona (Blankenship) Kennett. He is deeply loved by his wife Sharon, his daughters Rachel Kennett, Ashley Kennett and Blair Johnson, his grandson Jeffrey and by his sisters Barbara (Ken) Rivet and Loretta (David) Reed. He was preceded in death by his parents.

Bill loved God and he loved his family. As a former truck driver for Palmer's Moving Company, he enjoyed the open road on nice days with the windows rolled down and country music playing on the radio. Bill could never pass up a good cup of coffee or the chance to watch the Lions or Michigan football on TV. He would give the shirt off of his back to help a friend or a neighbor in need. He told his family he loved them each and every day. Gone far too soon, he will be sorely missed.

A Memorial Service will take place Saturday, October 28, 2017, 3pm at the Schrader-Howell Funeral Home, 280 S. Main St., Plymouth. Friends may visit beginning at 1pm. Memorials, in Bill’s memory, may be given to the family.
