James A. McLean Jr.

Jim passed away suddenly on Friday, January 10, 2014 at the age of 52. Jim was born in Ann Arbor, Michigan on August 23, 1961; the son of James and Janet (Burgett) McLean Sr. He graduated from the Westland Public School system and then went to work with his uncle Eddie Olson, in the heating and cooling business. Jim has remained in the heating and cooling business ever since. Jim was a devoted fan of the Detroit Red Wings and enjoyed camping and going tubing. Jim also appreciated a good micro-brewed beer. Just last March he lost his beloved wife of 24 years, Terry McLean. He is survived by his mother Janet McLean and brother Scott (Kristen) McLean. He is also survived by Terry's children: Amy Jo (Doug), Brandon (Jennifer) and Kim (Josh). He also leaves behind 11 grandchildren: Cody, Courtney, Katelynne, Jeffrey, Dezaray, Jasmine, Jillian, Brian, Darryl, Haylee and Aubrey. Jim's visitation will be held on Wednesday, from 10:00 am until time of the funeral service at 1:30 pm, at the Schrader-Howell Funeral Home, 280 S. Main Street, Plymouth. In lieu of flowers, contributions are suggested to the family.
