James A. Hardy

James A. Hardy, age 70, passed away on November 16, 2015. He was born on March 27, 1945, in Detroit to his parents, Alex and Sylvia (Pilan) Hardy. James was the beloved husband of 35 years to his loving wife, Karol (nee Goode) and dearest father of four children, Christopher Hardy, Rachel (Rory) Rays, Elizabeth (John) Rogatski, Donald Krumbach and very proud Grandfather of one grandchild, Rowen Rays. James was the retired Superintendent of Parks and Recreation in Farmington Hills. He was an avid golfer and an artist. James enjoyed professional sports and was a University of Michigan football and Detroit Lions fan. He was greatly admired as a leader and coach for many youth sports teams in the community. Friends may visit on Friday, November 20th, from 2pm to 8pm at the Schrader-Howell Funeral Home, 280 South Main Street, Plymouth. The funeral service will be held at the Funeral Home on Saturday, November 21st, at 11am. Burial will be at Riverside Cemetery in Plymouth.
