Jacqueline Murray Tozer

Passed away at the University of Michigan Hospital on Monday, July 22, 2013 at the age of 69. Jackie, as she was affectionately called, was born in Glasgow, Scotland the daughter of John and Jean ( Murray ) Brown. At the age of 4 the family relocated to the Detroit area. Her schooling was in the St. Clair school system and she also received an Associates Degree from Schoolcraft College. In May of 1970 she married Thomas Tozer, who passed away in 1990. For over 40 years she worked in accounting and ended her career in 2011 as an accounting supervisor with DHL. Jackie loved to travel, being with her family and spending time at the families cottage in Port Huron. She was also quite active in her church, Littlefield Presbyterian Church of Dearborn, in various women's groups and church committees. She is survived by her children Jeff ( Rebekah ), Dave ( Carolynn ) and Kevin ( Darby ) Tozer. Also surviving are her grandchildren, William, Ethan, Asher, Mackenzie, Macy, Alex, Brody and Charlotte and sister Morag Schang along with many nieces and nephews. A Memorial Service for Jacqueline will be held at Littlefield Presbyterian Church, 7560 Littlefield Road, Dearborn on Thursday, July 25, 2013 at 10:30am. Contributions are suggested to the church or the American Heart Association.
