Jacqueline Ann Stuart

Jacqueline Ann Stuart passed away September 18, 2015 at the age of 87. She was born April 14, 1928 in Vassar, Michigan to Earl Henry and Lillian Loretta (Zoller) Miller. She was preceded in death by her beloved husband John Erwin Stuart. She is deeply loved by her children John Stuart and Barbara (Gregory) Ciolek and her grandson Christopher Ciolek. She was also preceded in death by her brothers Maurice Miller, Robert Miller and Donald Miller. Growing up in Vassar Jacqueline worked at her father’s drug store to pay for college. She graduated from Vassar High School in 1946 where she received academic awards. She then attended and graduated from Albion College in 1950 with a B. A. and received her Master of Social Work from University of Michigan in 1953. All the while Jacqueline was very active with Methodist church organizations. She worked at MCHS in the adoption Department for several years and went on to work for Harper Hospital in Detroit as a Social Worker retiring in 1987. She married the love of her life John in 1954. Jacquline was loved and will be dearly missed by many. A Memorial Service will take place at 11am on Saturday, October 10, at the Newburg United Methodist Church, 36500 Ann Arbor Trail, Livonia, Michigan 48150.
