Jack Durwood Packard, age 97, peacefully passed away on September 2, 2016 at Livonia Woods Rehabilitation and Nursing Care facility.
Jack was born on June 11, 1919 in Mt. Pleasant, Michigan to Delbert and Irma (Noggle) Packard. Jack is survived by his daughters, Judith Brosnan of Ann Arbor and Jackie (John) Binder of Plymouth; grandchildren, Kathryn (Tim) Roussey of Rochester Hills, Frank (Wendy) Brosnan of Jamestown, NC, Jeff Binder of Canton, and Joe (Shawn) Binder of Plymouth; and great-grandchildren, Nick and Alex Roussey; Kelsey, Bridget, Aiden and Cameron Brosnan; and Ella, Clare and Cole Binder. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews. Jack was preceded in death by his parents, Delbert and Irma Packard; his beloved wife, Kathryn; and his four brothers, Mac, L. D., Vernell, and Delbert, Jr.
Jack was a lifetime resident of the Dexter and Ann Arbor area. He was a proud Army veteran and a long-time member of the Dexter American Legion Post.
A Memorial Service will be held at St. John's Episcopal Church, 574 South Sheldon Road, Plymouth, Michigan on September 14, 2016 at 1:30pm with a family visitation beginning a 12:30pm.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Angela Hospice or St. John's Episcopal Church.
