Isabel M. Loos

Passed away at Westland Convalescent Center after a long illness on Sunday, June 28, 2015 at the age of 83. Isabel was born in Detroit the daughter of James and Elizabeth Coutts. She attended public schools in Detroit and graduated from Cody High School. She met her future husband, Richard Loos, at Central Northwest Presbyterian Church in Detroit. The couple were wed in 1952 and shared a marriage lasting 60 years. Richard passed away in 2012. Isabel was a real " people person " enjoying her family and the many friends she met over the years. She also enjoyed bingo, bowling and the Red Wings. Isabel was also involved in various civic groups helping seniors. She is survived by her children, Margaret Barnes, David ( Cheryl ) Loos, Craig Loos, Claudia Harrison and Nancy Loos. Fourteen grandchildren and eleven great-grandchildren. Visitation will be held on Wednesday from 2 pm until 9 pm at the Schrader-Howell Funeral Home, 280 South Main Street, Plymouth where funeral services will be conducted on Thursday at 11 am. Later, she will be interred with her husband at Great Lakes National Cemetery in Holly, Michigan.
