Irene Mary Hart

Irene Mary Hart passed away on February 20, 2012, at the marvelous age of 100. Irene was born in Pennsylvania, the daughter of John A. and Angeline ( Szychowska ) Augustyn. Early in her life the family moved to the Detroit area where Irene finished her schooling. Shortly after the completion of the Second World War she married John Hart, and together they shared 41 years of married life. John passed away in 1987. Irene's greatest joy in life was taking care of her husband and her children. She is survived by her four children, Paul (Mary Ann) Hart, Patricia (William) Greenbaum, Philip (Sandra) Hart and David (Kathy) Hart. She also leaves eight grandchildren and four great grandchildren.

Visitation will be held at the Schrader-Howell Funeral Home, 280 South Main Street, Plymouth, on Thursday, February 23, 2012, from 5pm until 9pm. A private family funeral service will be held. She will be laid to rest beside her husband in Oakland Hills Memorial Cemetery.
