Horst E. Kesner

Horst E. Kesner, age 86 of Plymouth passed away on September 20, 2017. Horst was born on November 1, 1930 in Hindenburg, Germany, the son of Roman and Julia Kurkiewicz. He is the beloved husband of the late Lottie Kesner who passed away October 9, 2014. They were married for 57 years. He is the cherished and devoted father of Susan (Chuck) Martin, Thomas (Paula), John and step-son, Ralph Senst and very proud grandfather of Jacob (Chelsea) Schrot, Benjamin Schrot, Anthony Schrot, and Keri Kesner.

In his spare time, Horst could be found repairing whatever was in need of a repair. He was truly “Mr. Fixit” to his family, friends and all who knew him and, he was always more than willing to utilize his knowledge and skills when a repair was in need.

Friends may visit the Schrader-Howell Funeral Home, 280 South Main Street, Plymouth, Michigan on Thursday, September 28th from 2:00 pm until the time of the funeral service at 7:00 pm. The funeral service will be officiated by the Reverend Father Thomas Belczak. Horst will be laid to rest next to his beloved wife, Lottie during a private entombment service at Cadillac Memorial Gardens in Westland.
