Helen Mary Graney

Helen Mary Graney, age 95 of Canton passed away on Sunday, February 12, 2017. Helen was born in Detroit on March 12, 1921 to her parents, Leonard and Mary (nee Pierog) Wades. She is the beloved wife of the late Francis Graney who passed away on June 24, 2001. She is the devoted mother of Kathleen Anderson, John (Cecelia) Graney, Suzanne Graunstadt, Leonard Graney, the late Michael Graney and, the late Martin Graney. Proud grandmother of 12 and great-grandmother of 14. She is also survived by her daughter-in-law, Neigatha Graney.

Friends may visit on Thursday, February 16th from 4:00pm to 9:00pm at the Schrader-Howell Funeral Home, 280 South Main Street, Plymouth. A rosary will be said at 7:00 pm. A funeral service will be held at the funeral home at 11:00am on Friday, February 17th and will be officiated by the Reverend Father Thomas Belczak.

Helen will be laid to rest next to her husband, Francis P. Graney at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery in Southfield.
