Helen B. Vano of Canton, passed away January 31, 2017, at the age of 78. She was born in Detroit, Michigan, to Ernest and Francesca (nee Minghella) Costantino. Helen is survived by her beloved husband of 57 years Silvestro Vano, her three loving children Silvio (Ann) Vano Jr., Larry (Ganya) Vano, and Maria (Gerry) Giudici, her five precious grandchildren Samantha, Brianna, Gianna, Elianna, and Marco, and her two dear siblings Dr. Ernest (Mary) Costantino Jr., and Mary Louise (Albert) Papcun. Helen was preceded in death by both of her parents Ernest and Francesca Costantino, and her brother Guido (the late Rose) Costantino.
Helen was a loving wife and mom. She was dedicated to her family above all. She enjoyed cooking and providing a loving and nurturing environment to all. Helen was deeply loved and will be greatly missed.
Visitation will be Sunday, February 5, from 3-9pm with a Rosary Service at 5pm at the Schrader-Howell Funeral Home, 280 S. Main, Plymouth, 48170. Her Funeral Mass will be Monday, February 6, at 10:30am at St. Thomas a’Beckett Catholic Church, 555 S. Lilley, Canton, 48188. Family and friends may begin visiting at the Church at 10am. In lieu of flowers, donations will support the Neurology Research & Patient Care Fund.
