Hector L. Perez

Hector L. Perez, age 70 of Plymouth, passed away on March 17, 2012. Born in Mexico City, Mexico to the late Jose Manuel Perez Bravo and Carlota Perez Lorenzo. At the age of 18, Hector moved to the United States. Soon after arriving he would join and proudly serve in the United States Air Force and then attend the University of Detroit Mercy. Loving and devoted husband of 42 years to Gloria (Kleczynski). Proud father of Carla (Jason)Perez-Turner and Andrea Perez. Dear brother of Georgina Castro, Alicia Hernandez, Jose (Marina) Perez and the late Maria Elena Perez. Special uncle of Ana Laura (Miguel) Uribe. Also survived by his step-grandchildren Daniel and Sara Turner and by many loving nieces and nephews. Hector enjoyed wood working, stamp collecting, photography, golf and especially working with electronics and computers. Hector was a loving family man and most enjoyed spending time with family, friends and neighbors having a cold beer.
A celebration of life service will be held at St. John Neumann Catholic Church, 44800 Warren Rd. (1/4 mile West of Sheldon), Canton, on Thursday, March 22, 2012, at 10:30am. Friends may visit the Schrader-Howell Funeral Home, 280 South Main, Plymouth, on Wednesday from 2-9pm and at church on Thursday 10:00am until time of Mass.
