Heather Noël McLean of Plymouth passed away on April 9, 2015 at the age of 69, after a long and difficult illness. She was born in Detroit, Michigan on August 9th, 1945, to Laurence and Mary (née Andrews) McLean. She had worked in the fields of architecture, pharmacy, optometry, real estate, radio, and was once a dispatch officer for the Southfield Police Department. Her life often followed an erratic course, but was always dominated by a love of learning. She was a member of the Honor Societies of Phi Beta Kappa and Phi Kappa Phi. She was also a writer of mysteries and ghost stories, and a member of Mystery Writers of America. Heather is the wife of the late Clare Brown, mother of Cameron (Erin) McLean, and sister to Ron, Kerry and Robin McLean. A private service will be held.
