Gordon R. Charlet

Gordon R. Charlet passed away October 4, 2011, at the age of 83. He was the son of the late Albert and Doris (Richards) Charlet. He is survived by his beloved daughters, Victoria (Jay) Knecht and Julie R. Taylor, and his dear grandchildren, Danielle Thompson and Travis Taylor. He is also survived by his dear brother, Al (Mary Lee) Charlet.

Mr. Charlet retired from Ford Motor Company sixteen and a half years ago as a Warranty Claims Representative. He was a 22-year resident of Redford. He loved spending time with his family, especially his grandchildren. He loved to read history, especially about World War II, and he loved to listen to classical music. Mr. Charlet was also a "Mr. Fix-it," helping his family to take care of matters around their homes.

Funeral Services will take place at the Schrader-Howell Funeral Home, 280 S. Main St., Plymouth, Friday, October 7, 2011, at 6pm. Friends may visit beginning at 1:30pm.
