Gloria Lee Mog

Gloria Lee Mog, born on December 24, 1933, passed away on March 2, 2023.  She was born in Detroit, Michigan to her late parents, Andrew Robert and Josephine Ann (Jackson) Pruner.  Gloria was married to the late William Mog and they had five loving children, Bill (Jodi) Mog, Patrick (Michele Brodish) Mog, Laura (Ted) Lukens, Nancy (Bruce) Davis, and Alice (Jody Harwood ) Mog  . Gloria is also the loving  grandmother of Connor Mog, Julie (Chris) Lawson, Kimberly (Justin) Mayo, Steven Mog, Sara (Chelsea) Steinhauser, Lauren (Tom) Borum, Amanda Beasly, and Anna (Fiancé Alex Demers) Lukens and great grandmother of Samuel, Peter, Daxton, Remi, Maddy, and Myles.  Also surviving is her brother, Andrew Pruner.

Gloria was a very social person and loved serving others. She worked with Habitat for Humanity, Meals on Wheels, volunteered at her church, and knitted hats and stuffed animals for hospital patients. She loved her family very much and was always around to support them in everything they did. She also loved gardening, golfing, traveling, her dog Buster, joking around, and crocheting.

She was a very strong and determined woman. When she became sick with her kidney disease she did peritoneal dialysis for 8 years on her own and then another 8 years of hemodialysis at home with the help of her daughter Nancy. She never allowed this to stop her from living her life. She continued to go golfing, garden, travel, and enjoy her family and friends up until her death.

Friends may visit the Schrader-Howell Funeral Home, 280 South Main Street, Plymouth, Michigan on Sunday, March 5, from 4P to 7P with a Rosary Service at 7P.

She will be in state from 10A to 10:30A at St. John Neumann, 44800 Warren Road, Canton, MI.  Her mass will start at 10:30A.
