Glenn Boettcher, age 91 of Novi passed away on February 13, 2022. He was born in Detroit, Michigan on October 14, 1930 to his late parents, Caroline (née Randig) and Rollin Boettcher. Glenn is the beloved and devoted husband of Sharon Knecht; loving father of Steve Boettcher, David Boettcher, James Boettcher, Susan Croteau and Kathy Boettcher; proud grandfather of James and Tanner. He is deeply loved and will be greatly missed by numerous nieces and nephews. Glen is pre-deceased by his first wife, Doris who passed away in 1994 and his siblings, Ralph Boettcher, Ronald Boettcher, Jeanne Finnigan, Jacques Boettcher and Joan Long.
Glenn and Sharon enjoyed spending time at their condominium in Harbor Springs and travel. Some of their favorite travel locations were Hawaii, Italy and Ireland. Glenn was an avid baseball fan and loved his Detroit Tigers. He and Sharon travelled each year to Lakeland, Florida to watch the Detroit Tiger games at their spring training location.
Friends may visit the Schrader-Howell Funeral Home, 280 South Main Street, Plymouth on Friday, February 18, 2022 from 4:00 P.M. to 9:00 P.M. A Prayer Service will be held at 7:00 P.M.
Visitation will continue on Saturday at 9:30 A.M. until the time of the Funeral Mass at 10:00 A.M. at St. Kenneth Catholic Church, 14951 North Haggerty Road, Plymouth, Michigan.
Glenn will be laid to rest at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery in Southfield, Michigan.
