Gerald B. Trierweiler

November 3, 1928 — March 17, 2013

Passed away at Mercy Hospital in Grayling on Sunday, March 17, 2013 at the age of 84. Gerald was born in Lansing, Michigan on November 3, 1928 the son of Joseph and Paula ( Platte ) Trierweiler. Gerald resided in the Plymouth and Livonia area for over 46 and he owned the Colonial Cleaners of Plymouth for over 30 years. He was a member of St. Thomas a' Becket Catholic Church and in his spare time enjoyed bowling and snowmobiling. But the greatest joy in his life was his family. In 2010 Gerald lost his wife of thirty years Lucy. Even though they were parted he stayed in contact with Betty DeBoer his former wife. He is survived by his children Denny, Larry and Jim Trierweiler, Bob ( Amber ), Ken ( Gloria ), Jerry Lee ( Helen ), Mike ( Joann ) & Joe ( Sherry ) Treirweiler and Dawn ( John ) Clark and Crystal Pope. Also surviving are his grandchildren, Larry Jr., Jason, Kevin, Kerri, Jimmy, Jamie, Jonathan, Robert, Sarah, Monica, Meranda, Blake, Gage, Christopher, John, Shawn, Nicole and Ian. Thirteen great grandchildren also survive and soon will be a great great grandchild. Visitation will be held at the Schrader-Howell Funeral Home, 280 South Main Street, Plymouth on Thursday from 1 pm until 9 pm. Visitation will continue on Friday from 10 am until time of the Funeral Mass at 10:30 am at St. Thomas a'Becket Catholic Church, 555 South Lilley Road ( south of Cherryhill ) Canton. Interment will follow at Cadillac Memorial Gardens. Contirbutions are suggested to the American Cancer Society or the charity of your choice.
